Callie and Bryan are a sweet couple that attend my church and I am so blessed to have this connection with her and her sweet family! Callie’s mom, Carie, posted on Facebook asking for photography recommendations. My church responded with such overwhelming support; many of my church family referred me, and I could not be more thankful that they did! I instantly felt a connection to Carie, Callie, and their family. The love they share is undeniable! It is so refreshing to see families supporting one another and accepting one another, as they should!
Callie and Bryan met on a church trip with Coastal Cathedral to Winterfest in Knoxville, Tennessee. Winterfest is a youth movement that annually reaches thousands across the country and around the world; a place where the lives, direction, and paths of young people are interrupted, influenced, and forever changed to strengthen their relationships with God. There is no better way for this relationship to begin! Callie and Bryan spent a lot of time connecting during this trip and it was then that Callie knew that Bryan could be the man she could spend the rest of her life with! They returned home and began to date. Two years later Bryan had no doubt that this is the girl he wanted to call his wife. Bryan surprised Callie with a birthday dinner among all of their family and friends; his perfect moment to get down on one knee and propose. “I was completely surprised and after a few tears, I was able to say YES!” This is a direct quote from Callie when I asked her to tell me their story.
In December, Callie got to marry her best friend and the love of her life! The two lovebirds were surrounded by their closest friends and family for an intimate backyard Christmas wedding, and my word, it was gorgeous. Callie’s mom, Carie, made most of their decorations; she truly has a gift! With everyone’s help, they put together one of the most meaningful moments I have ever witnessed! Callie and Bryan are now expecting their baby girl in just a few days! Congratulations to you both. My prayer for you is that you always keep God in the center of your relationship. Trials will come and go, but in the end, it is God that you are aiming to please. He has given you an amazing support group! I believe in you both and know that you will be outstanding, Godly examples for your sweet Kennedy!
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. ~1 John 5:4
